Prayer pointers

As we step into a new year, let us pray for the Breath of God to be upon us, to bring fresh inspiration by the Holy Spirit, that we may be right in the centre of God’s will for us as a church family.

Especially we pray for –

  • Parish Fair;  pray for a great Parish-wide event, good weather and great response from the community.
  • Parish AGM on 24 March. Pray for the work of the Holy Spirit among us as we nominate and vote for vestry
  • Pray for a new Archbishop of Tikanga Pakeha. The Bishops meet March 18 to discern the new Archbishop. Pray for the work of the Holy Spirit that God’s choice is made.
  • As we walk in Jesus’ steps close to Easter, may we draw closer to Him, to know Him more
  • Those considering confirmation in June

Because Your loving kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise You. Thus I will bless You while I live, I will lift up my hands in Your Name. – Psalm 63:3-4 (NKJV)
